These are banners that I made with the help of the Arts and Spirituality group at my Field Ed church. They cover several different season of the Liturgical Year. The first two (above) are for the season of Advent, representing the coming down and the indwelling of God within creation. the next two are for the season of Christmas, focusing on the bright colors of yellow and gold, with the center piece being an image of Joseph, Mary and the Baby Jesus, emphasizing the immense gift of God being incarnated on Earth. The banner pictured on the left is an image of Epiphany, the celebration of the Light of the World being present but unrecognized, and yet not being overcome by the darkness of the world.
